Over the weekend of 18 & 19 April 2009, Sirromet hosted the delegates of Gold Coast Arts Centres to the Victor Gibson Weekend 2009 with a formal dinner in Restaurant Lurleen’s... Without exception each of our delegates commented on the wine, food and service during the dinner.

On behalf of the Victor Gibson Weekend committee would you convey to the many staff involved in the execution of the formal dinner our sincere thanks for making this meal a memorable one for our delegates. Just to let you know everybody thoroughly enjoyed themselves at Sirromet. From you meeting us first thing at the door when we arrived, to the very entertaining Graham who did the wine tasting for us, to Jo and her staff ensuring everybody had the meals they had requested, to the shooting in the afternoon... It was a wonderful day and it certainly did help our ‘team building' within the department. We cannot thank you for being so attentive during our visit.

Many thanks to the people at Sirromet for their hospitality yesterday. The food and service at Lurleens was first class and was thoroughly enjoyed by our group. The operation is a fine achievement of which the people of Sirromet and this State can be proud.

Sirromet was a wonderful venue for our business retreat day and from moment of arrival, it exuded a positive aura of business and service excellence. This created a great motivational platform on which to kick start a day of team brain storming and relationship building activities.

The Sirromet organisers obviously have a great feel for customer requirements, ranging from us being located in a beautifully appointed venue supported by excellent hospitality services provided by friendly and professional staff. The lunch at Sirromet's signature restaurant 'Lurleen's' was delicious, well presented and again supported by service excellence.

An informative Winery tour in the afternoon, followed by energising and fun physical team building activities ensured the day was enjoyed by all. I couldn't think of a better venue in which to experience either a business retreat or personal social visit.

The Sirromet business retreat was exceptional.

From the moment we stepped in the winery with the warm welcome of the staff, I knew we were in for a treat. The exquisite lunch was matched equally with the wine and amazing views of the rolling hills and kangaroos. The tour of the winery was insightful. I marveled at the new technology and processes Sirromet have implemented to make them one of the best in Australia. After all the indulgence of wonderful food and great wine, the team activities ended the day in laughter with a greater level of mateship amongst our work colleagues.

It was a great day had by all and I highly recommend the experience.
